The Nitty Gritty
My vision is to have a top quality soccer camp that impacts kids’ lives in a Godly manner. I can promise you this won’t be your run-of-the-mill soccer camp. My goal is for kids to enjoy the beautiful game of soccer with no pressure. FUN is a top priority! And trust me, we’ll have lots of it. The players will be pushed to work hard and encouraged to play free.
Come on parents, don’t you want a break? Take a vacation with your spouse. Go on that adventure you’ve been dreaming about going on for years. Or use the freedom and quiet to catch up on everything that needs to be done around the house. Heck, sleep in and stay in bed all day watching movies and reading a book. Be a kid again yourself. The point is that you’ll be able to relax and unwind knowing that your kids are having the time of their lives in a fun, safe and enriching environment. All we have to say is, “Your welcome!”
The camp staff will consist of current and retired pro soccer players who are friends of mine. My rockstar family (including my wife, Dad and Mama) will also be there because without them I’m one lost puppy.
It’s my desire as I continue to mature as a professional athlete and man, to use the tremendous platform with which God has blessed me to give back to others! There is no doubt that my camps will focus strongly on high-quality soccer techniques that will push, challenge and equip campers to improve their soccer skills tremendously. But this camp is so much more than just a soccer camp.
John Wooden said “Who you are as a person is far more important that who you are as a soccer player” or something like that.
This camp will also place emphasis on invaluable character-building skills and life lessons such as overcoming obstacles, pursuing goals and dreams, fully committing to a disciplined regiment, maintaining a positive attitude through all of life’s circumstances and embracing the men God created us to be.
